The Last Cigarette

A promise broken in ashes.

After a crushing job rejection, Jamal lights a single cigarette — his first in six months. But as the smoke rises, so does everything he’s tried to hold together. A mysterious delivery, a fractured phone call, and a promise broken lead to a quiet unraveling… until a single ember turns memory into ash.

A haunting short about restraint, relapse, and the irreversible weight of a split-second choice.

"The Last Cigarette” was born out of a simple, haunting question: what’s the one thing we reach for when we feel like we’re losing control? I wanted to explore the slow burn of temptation — the silence of lying to someone you love, and the fire that follows.

This isn’t just a film about smoking. It’s about the split-second decisions that shape everything after.
